January in Fredericksburg: 3 Places to Go

Enjoy FredericksburgNow that the new year holiday has officially passed, it’s time for us to go back to work and school respectively. However, that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. In this post, we thought we’d share some of our favorite things to do in Fredericksburg as the new year begins. Because even though the holidays are over, that doesn’t mean we have to stop enjoying our weekends!

Go to a Show

The Riverside Center Theater is running a showing of the musical, The Buddy Holly Story. This runs through March, so you have some time, but it starts up in January. It is supposed to have fun for the whole family, including many musical numbers of songs you know and love. Cue the “doo-wops!”

Restaurant Week

The Old Fredericksburg Restaurant Week starts in mid-January! This foodie fest is delish. The week consists of various restaurants showing their best dishes to festival goers. It involves a sort of hopping from restaurant to restaurant, but it’s definitely a good way to sample the menus of these places you may never have never tried before.

Adventure Brewery

This place isn’t just a brewery. It hosts a concert series, a Local Hero’s Night, a trivia night, and even a flavor infusion seminar. Most of these events take place in January, so you may want to get tickets sooner rather than later. The promising thing though is that if Adventure Brewery is doing this much in just one month, imagine what they do the rest of the year.

There’s really no reason to have a boring January! Start your new year off right with these events that our team at Robert B. Payne, Inc. loves to do after the new year. Call our pros for more info: 540-373-5876.
